Muncy Bank enters a six-year agreement for the naming rights of the Historic Bowman Field, home of the Williamsport Crosscutters minor league baseball team.

Muncy Bank Ballpark At the Historic Bowman Field - Logo with a baseball and two baseball batsThe Muncy Bank and Trust Company has entered into a six-year agreement with the City of Williamsport for the naming rights of Historic Bowman Field.  Williamsport City Council approved the agreement at the April 15 City Council meeting. The Stadium will be known as Muncy Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field.

Opened in 1926, Historic Bowman Field is home to the Williamsport Crosscutters, a team in the new MLB Draft League. The Muncy Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman field also hosts collegiate and high school baseball games throughout the year.

Muncy Bank was established in Muncy, Pennsylvania and currently has 8 full-service offices with its ninth office scheduled to open in South Williamsport in 2022.  According to Rob Glunk, Muncy Bank President and CEO, “Muncy Bank was founded in 1893 and with our rich local history we feel placing our name on a treasure like Historic Bowman Field is a good fit.” Glunk also stated, “we have been involved with the Williamsport Crosscutters for many years and are excited to also expand our relationship with the team.”  

Derek Slaughter, City of Williamsport Mayor, added, “We are pleased to welcome Muncy Bank & Trust Company as the next sponsor of Historic Bowman Field. Their commitment to our community is greatly appreciated.

The Crosscutters have worked with Muncy Bank for the better part of two decades and we look forward to helping them maximize their investment both in the facility and our organization.”
